Smashbox fans?

Gilt Groupe is having a one-day sale on some Smashbox items, averaging more than half off list. It's an invite-only website, so you can use this link if you want to check it out. (Full disclosure: it's my referral link, and I get a kickback if you sign up and eventually buy something.) I keep checking it out for the shoes and accessories, because there's no way I'm going to fit into 7 for All Mankind jeans or Vera Wang, regardless of how big a discount they're offering (and the discounts tend to be pretty substantial). Upcoming stuff according to the schedule is Vera Wang, Derek Lam, and Thakoon tomorrow.

I have bought exactly one thing in the many months since I signed up, a set of bangles. Even at half or more off, most of the stuff they offer is more than I want to spend right now. It's fun to window shop though, with the occasional "o_O WUT".

As much as it pains me to say it, I think I'm too old for a fair amount of the clothes they sell, even if I could fit into it. (Get off my lawn, you whippersnappers! ;) )

Okay, now I'm a little disturbed. (No -- as you know quite well, I'm a lot disturbed, but in other ways.) Right now, they have the Vellum brand on sale. If you look under the Women's tab, it offers you picture frames and a pen cup. You have to go to the Men's tab to get the full display of picture frames, a pen cup, desk trays, and an actual notebook (which is, on this site, a decent price -- I might have ordered it were it not for my horror of lined pages and my daft loyalty to Moleskine).

Only men take notes? LOLWUT?
