You mean you wouldn't be willing to build that entire site for $500 like he's budgeted? ;) C'mon, you get miniscule ownership of whatever ridiculous scheme he's dreamed up! And I didn't add in the comment that it's not pr0n, so obviously it's going to make a lot of money. *cough* ;)

It cost UPS about one million to build it's new/current site. So I would say that 400,000 would be closer to what these guys are asking for. But since they don't need online database access giving current status of something constantly changing, I'd bid $100,000.

Heh. But he's only budgeted $500. *laugh* Plus the generous offer of 10% of his stupid venture, whatever it is. The frightening thing is that there were people actually bidding on it at that level. "Sure! I can give you a $500k website for $500. No problem!"
