If you’ve always dreamed of being immortalized in a movie shot with Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams or Jason Bateman, now’s your chance.

A casting call was announced Tuesday for extras in the film “State of Play,” which begins filming in D.C. during the first week of March.

The two calls will occur this weekend at the Marriott on 22nd Street, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

I've been getting text messages on my phone for that movie for the past month or so. (The last one just a couple of days ago.) Not sure what it's about but they seem to have been looking for my type lately. But there's that whole "have to go out to the East Coast for the shoot" thing that throws a wrench into the works, ya know!!!

(That's worse than the recruiter who has been told "DC-area jobs only, no travel" and keeps suggesting stuff in CT or on Long Island. No, dude, Long Island is not commuting-distance from NoVA.)
