In the comments on today's xkcd feed entry (which will disappear shortly, as all syndication entries do), someone asks what was wrong with Windows ME.

bassplayer1231: Something about a memory leak that would make it crash for sure after so many hours. Not to mention other Lovecraftian horrors. Definitely something Microsoft would rather others to forget.
onebyoneallday: Yeah, sometimes the black goat with a thousand young would pop up and attempt to assist you in making a spreadsheet.
