coming back from the library with a stack of books big enough that you have to balance it under your chin to keep the stack from falling over (or better yet, put them all into the empty wheeled suitcase that you loaned your coworker and are now bringing home). The last two Dresden Files books took me all of two days to finish, I think this stack will last a bit longer. Plus I have at least three more books in my hold queue that should be in shortly, although two of those are the first couple of Dresden books for [livejournal.com profile] nminusone.

I really enjoy the show. Are the books similar? Hubby has read them and he likes them, but I am curious for another viewpoint.

Hello! Just decided to wander around LJ a bit today, and I wanted to comment on your taste in books...very cool. I might try the Dresden files, then. I totally agree about Laurell K. Hamilton, I stopped reading her stories out of frustration, because she's a wonderful writer with such fabulous concepts, yet she never gives me what I want to read...if that makes sense?
