Just finished watching the premiere of Six Feet Under. Kind of rough to watch at times (the flashback/dream of the father and the boys playing on the lawn with the garden hose brought back memories of doing the same thing with my dad), but an excellent show. There's an excellent rant on how death and grieving is so sanitized and hidden away in our culture, as if we'd rather not acknowledge it as the part of life that it is. It's on HBO again Tuesday night, Cath-Bob sez: "Check it out."

Now I'm off to give my brain some fluff by watching the "Lexx" season 2 DVD I picked up yesterday.
