It seems that the general theme for today with nearly everyone I know is "boredom". The most excitement I've had today has been taking my life in my hands and trying to walk across the street to get lunch and caffeine (I'm not entirely kidding, this area really isn't pedestrian-friendly at all). And I'm cranky as all get-out, mostly because I'm bored, so couple of things today have just rubbed me totally the wrong way.

I really need to get better about taking my supplements, I find that they really do help my motivation to get up and do stuff. Not to mention helping me feel less depressed. It would've been a nice day to go out and take a drive out 50 towards the Blue Ridge and enjoy the scenery, but Chris has got my car all this week until he can replace his alternator this weekend. I might see if I can drop him off tomorrow and use the car to go to the gym. What I'd really like to do is go wander around the botanical garden, which would get me out from in front of my computer and at least a minimal amount of exercise.

Bored. Bored bored bored bored bored. I've done laundry, I've dusted and vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen. The only things left are paying bills which I'll do tonight, and maybe a trip to EMS to find some hiking gear that fits. I've apparently gained two sizes since I bought my last pair of hiking shorts. =P At least I don't seem to be gaining a lot of weight post-shot, which I was afraid of and seem to in fact be down a couple of pounds.

Which takes me off on another tangent. Out of curiosity I looked to see exactly what was in this "miracle diet" stuff I saw Erin Gray promoting on an infomercial last night. The claim is up to 10 lbs of weight loss in 2 days of which 90% is guaranteed to be fat and not just water, and I got curious as to what exactly you were ingesting that would do that. It's a 2-day juice fast is all. At $30 per bottle of juice concentrate. Nice scam. I can do the same thing with Tropicana and my multi-vitamins, for a lot less than $30 (or $60, once you add in the "metabolism booster" pills and the detox tea).

The weight kinda creeps up on you when you take the shot. It took me a while to gain everything that I have. But I've probably put on at least 10-20lbs... some of that weight is def from the shot. Shadow and I will be looking for alternatives to the shot when my time elaspes in june.

Though hey maybe I should go on the juice fast... lol. I kinda liked the electtrical tummy exciser I saw on infomercial.... If it actually works as advertised...
