nminusone and I are going to go see "Labyrinth" at AFI Silver on Thursday night as part of their Jim Henson tribute program. Anyone local want to join us?

the time of the showing is the main factor. i generally wake up anywhere between 5 and 5:30 in the morning on a given weekday. hence, a movie starting at 9:30 is not one i might be able to get through without falling asleep no matter how much i like it.

however, i note that blue velvet is showing on sunday matinee. :-)

I'll probably work late and drive up and have dinner around there beforehand, just because it mkes more sense than going home and going back out. If you'd like to meet up for a meal, jsut let me know. Otherwise I'll see you at teh theater, what, around 9?

We're going to have dinner beforehand at the Lebanese Taverna Cafe near the theater. We're aiming for 8pm, but you know how traffic can be. The Cafe version of Lebanese Taverna is pretty quick, so we should have plenty of time. If we miss you there we'll try to meet in front of the theater by 9pm.

I haven't seen it on a big screen in a very, very long time. They're also showing "The Dark Crystal" this weekend; I lose all sorts of geek cred I think by admitting that I don't think I've ever seen it (or did so long ago that I don't remember anything about it).
