Whose idea was a denim wedding dress with a cathedral train? There's also this one, which would be gorgeous if it were, y'know, not denim.

[Edit: The denim I think is just a little odd. This, however... Words fail.]

[The userpic has nothing to do particularly with the post, I just figured I'd share some wrongness instead of simply making a GIP.]

Before I clicked the link I was thinking it was denim in front and whatever wedding dresses are normally made of for the back and train. And that made me think "It's the mullet of wedding dresses: Business up front, party round the back!"

I'm weird, I'd wear them. They are gorgeous. The second one would make a cool prom dress.

You should totally wear something like that. :)

But you *like* that color on you, especially in velour... ;)

I really loved the red wedding dress in Beetlejuice. And not just because of who was wearing it!

For my second wedding, I wore a red evening gown. You do what works for you. Oh and the patriot gown works for a formal July 4th event. ;)

What happens in denim, stays in denim.

Well, I guess when the company's named "Sat'n Spurs"...

This outfit terrifies me. Especially as it's listed under wedding gowns...

That last super-fringy one could *almost* be a pow-wow outfit, with different accessories and maybe a bit more color.

As for the red gown, it might not be Western-traditional, but that's a very traditional wedding color for China...

The denim gowns are...interesting, albeit in a sort of "look what I did with my Beadazzler!" sort of way. The star-spangled monstrosity, OTOH, makes Tonstant Weader fwow up. That thing looks like something the graphic guys would cook up for cheap laughs on The Colbert Report. (Why oh why aren't all the flag-desecration hardliners frothing at the thought of pitstains on Old Glory?)

[livejournal.com profile] easy_living and I get a lot of free magazines, from publishers who figure I will leave them in my waiting room for clients. (Of course, I have no waiting room, and my clients deal with me by phone, fax, and e-mail, but they don't know that.) Among the current offerings are two different bridal magazines. Looking at those, I have the feeling that there is someone who will wear pretty much any kind of wedding gown, no matter how tasteless.

The patriotic wedding dress could be cool..if our presidency had the glamour it did in JFK's day and there was a glamourous sexy president getting married. I'm thinking the current dipshit in office...his daughters would probably wear the denim dresses with pride....sad sad thought.

hm. the denim's actually kinda pretty. The flag one... wearing flags quite like that tends to bother me, and it looks rather cartoonish. I like the lines, though.
