...from a trip to the outlet mall in Leesburg. The Coldwater Creek outlet store there is having an extra 70% off all velvet sale (soaring_phoenix, did you catch that? ;)) , which I was unaware of when I headed out. I ended up with a black velvet top, a caramel a-line moleskin skirt and a pair of plum trousers, all of which turned out to be 50%-70% off the marked clearance prices. I also found a pair of knee-high black boots at Naturalizer which turned out to be on sale for about half off their listed price, although it wasn't listed on the sign. All of this ended up coming to less than $75; go me. I even resisted all temptation at both the Movado and Le Creuset outlets, not that it was terribly hard in the former -- even at outlet prices, I didn't see anything for which my desire came anywhere close to matching the number on the price tag.

I'm quite pleased that I got all that for well under $100. If I'd been more inspired, I might've hit up a couple more stores to see what other surprises I could find.
