Restaurant week

I've just been reminded that next week is DC Restaurant Week. I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm way too late to get reservations at some of these places, but I'm sure I'll try anyway.

Thanks for pointing that out, I really appreciate it. Though there's one thing about this I'm not too fond. Have you noticed all the restaurants are actually *in* Washington DC?

That was intended as humor, although I sort of feel that those of us in the outlying 'burbs are rather under appreciated for our own cuisine. We need a DC-metro- restaurant week. It could focus on the restaurants inside the beltway and outside the official city limits.
