We're all going "Straight to Hell" as the Pogues kick off their US Tour at the 9:30 Club for a little pre-St. Patty's Day debauchery. Although the band reunited for a brief tour in 2001, this will be the first Stateside visit for the legendary punks since the '90s. Come to see the original band members together once again, if only to witness the antics of the always unpredictable Shane MacGowan.

It does look like a pretty abbreviated tour, at least so far. Six dates in the US total, half of them in NYC. I'm almost tempted by the idea of Atlantic City, but given that tickets here for the general admission, no seating, 9:30 Club were $50, I doubt I'd want to pay for Atlantic City. If Boston weren't in the middle of the week, that might be an option too. Hmmm. *schemes*
