Date-saving

nminusone and I are having a holiday-ish party on January 7. We have no details yet other than "it'll be that day" and I'm sure nummy food will be involved, but we'll post when we know what we're doing. ;)
There's also talk of an informal party/open house on New Year's Eve, but again with the "details fuzzy, ask again later". Just tossing it out because scheduling for the next four or eight weeks is officially insane.
