book_icons, it's a reference to something from the "Thursday Next" series. Thought a couple of folks on my friends list would get a giggle out of it.
Okay, to make this not actually entirely gratuitous: I dropped the piggie off at the vet about an hour ago, and his surgery is scheduled for 3 PM I think. He seemed plenty perky this morning and not at all lethargic, so hopefully he'll come through okay.
