I am not claiming to be remotely surprised that it's happening, but I am a little surprised to see it put so bluntly; did the press suddenly rediscover their collective spine?

[Edit, 11:35 PM: Perhaps not; I notice the headline's already changed.]
[Edited again, 11:53 PM: It's changed at least for me, the headline I see is "Relief Approaches Convention Center" although the original still seems to be showing up for other people.]

Washington Post headline: White House Shifts Blame

Still looks the same for me right now, except that just above it, in bold black letters is 'Chief Justice Rehnquist Dies' and below that in a small font 'Rehnquist died Saturday of thyroid cancer at his home in Arlington. He was 80.'.

damn about the quick change. though that's wapo who doesn't suck too badly in general.

what's really surprised me, on the other hand, is geraldo and shepard freaking out in hannity's face on fauxnews. i mean, i can't stand geraldo, and i never watch fauxnews, but i've seen the clip. wow.

Hmmm. I'm still seeing the same headline as the screenshot.

the time stamp on the site says 41 past. It's now 53 past, and it's still showing that for me.

Ditto that. I'm not logged in, though, as I don't have a washingtonpost.com account. I wonder if that makes a difference?

Hey, they have to do something. Michael Chertoff's lies are becoming more and more obvious.

I mean, this claim (http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/09/03/katrina.chertoff/index.html) is so easily shown to be wrong (http://www.fema.gov/news/newsrelease.fema?id=13051).
