I think the XM subscription price is completely justified by the existence of Fred. I couldn't begin to tell you when I last heard The Sisters of Mercy on the radio.
Yeah, I picked up a Roady2 last night and got around to installing/activating it this afternoon. So far, thumbs up. I had a couple of times where the signal got very weak, but I was in a low, heavily wooded area when it happened, so not terribly suprising.
When we were in Florida, the rental outfit didn't have the type car we requested,
so we asked if we could get one with satellite radio. They said they didn't have
any, but the car we got had XM. fizzygeek had much fun with it,
and Fred was well represented. We may well be getting a unit in her car, but it
might be Sirius instead.
