It's 9:30 AM on Saturday, and I've been up for over two hours already so I could take [livejournal.com profile] brian1789 to the airport. I'm flipping a coin on whether to go to the yarn store or to take a nap. I suppose there's nothing stopping me from doing both, although not simultaneously.

For my own reference, stuff I'd like to get done today in not much of a particular order:

  • laundry, specifically the pile of sheets and blankets that's been sitting in the hamper for more than a week
  • sort through the pile of clothes in the bedroom to decide what to keep and what to donate
  • pull out stuff for ebay and photograph it
  • change the water and clean the fish tank, scrub out the cat's box and the pig's cage, clean and refill the hummingbird feeder
  • give the pig and the cat baths, if I feel up to losing that much blood
  • mulch the bed out front, move the pansies out of the planter to give the hosta some space
  • add more soil to the bed with the daylilies out back
  • continue scrubbing down the deck if I feel so inclined, which I probably don't
  • price out the 250 GB Western Digital drives [Edit: $90 after $55 in rebates at Microcenter.] and maybe see if I can get some cheap at the computer show so that I can set up a music server. Probably we'll end up needing at least four if we want to rip everything, although no need to get them all right now. Do I really want to deal with samba? Probably not this weekend, no.
  • crawl into bed with fresh, clean sheets, a book, a glass of wine, and then pass out [Edit: preceded by 2 hours of trying to untangle the hank of yarn I'd been winding.]
