Picoreview: Diet Coke with Splenda

The longer review: I use Splenda in my afternoon coffee (xylitol goes  in the morning batch), so it's not that I can't tolerate the taste.  This stuff though  tastes to me like Diet Coke with lemon, and I really, really hate lemon or lime in my soda.

I was inspired to pick up a bottle when I saw it today because I remembered one of you two (or both of you maybe) saying you liked it. Not working for me though, sadly.

I tried it and liked it. It was different from Diet Coke-lacked the bite from the nutra sweet after taste.

I think what I really disliked about it was the strong lemon smell and taste.

I picked some up this weekend, not sure if I would like it or not. Not only did I not like it, but after having a sip of it, it also made brian1789's diet coke with lime taste gross. Fortunately, there were chocolate chocolate chip cookies, courtesy of patgreene, which were essential in chasing away the yucky taste.

Chocolate chip cookies can make nearly anything better. =)

Personally, I strongly dislike either lemon or lime in my Diet Coke; even though I wanted to like the version with Splenda, the strong smell and taste of lemon-scented Pledge pretty much turned me off of it immediately.
