[Guh. This morning I had already been out of the house for an hour and in the office for half an hour at the time I'm normally stumbling out of bed in a fog. I think today's going to be a four-coffee day. At least I'll have my car in reasonably decent working order by the end of the day in return, that's something.]

Bluh. Yesterday I never did get past the seemingly caffeine-deprivation-caused brain-dead feeling, and I was sleepy by 7:00pm for some reason. I even doubled my caffeine intake yesterday morning. Hoping today is more clear. Have to fertilize the lawn. Wheee...

Not that I disagree that you'd have to be insane to let a strange man take your bag, but the whole hostility men-are-crawling-with-germs thing was wierd as hell.

I don't know what's up with the woman, all she need do is remind folks that it's now illegal for them to take her luggage for her, in airports at least.

Yeah, I am totally sympathetic to "please don't invade my space without an invitation from me", but her response to it seemed more than a bit over the top. But maybe that's just me. I do have to admire (or something) her strong sense of self-worth that makes her think every man in the airport under 50 or so is trying to pick her up.

Once I got out of bed, I was fine. I can get up early so long as it's sunny.

The car's fine, and it was nearly free. (Only $320 to replace both sides.)
