Now, I know that Shane MacGowan's core competency is more with the drinking and less with the singing, but I swear that in the middle of "Haunted" he sounds disturbingly like Oscar the Grouch.

How about his strength, or is more competent at, a better drinker than singer, any number of ways to avoid that bastard neologism, that appetite killing, nausea making foulness of an ugly, and poorly, verbed noun.
