When I got home last night in what could be considered a bit of a distraught state, nminusone tried to convince me that things really aren't as bad as all that (with mixed success, granted, but he did try), indulged me in my desire to go get a quesadilla from California Tortilla even though it was earlier than he'd normally want to eat dinner, and later that night he went back out to the store so he could make me chocolate chip cookies while I napped under a blanket on the couch.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing!

geekchick has some amazing, kind and considerate friends and sweeties. (I've gotten get-well-soon tips and support from them, and these are people that I don't even know! Well, okay, I met nminusone, once. They are clearly even more helpful when it is their dear one.)
