geekchickInsomnia. Bleah.
Been finding more annoying connection attempts to our server from hosts I don't recognize. Luckily (I guess) I'm rebuilding this machine when we move to our new provider and can install tripwire and all that other good stuff on a machine I know is clean. Time to learn to build a firewall too, I guess. Woohoo?
Today's to-do list:
1) get some sleep
2) get the web cam set up and working
3) figure out why stuff that should be getting logged just isn't
4) spend the day reading the incredibly exciting tome "Linux Firewalls"
5) find out when we're doing the move and set up a temporary web server on another machine/tear my hair out trying to figure out how to deal with email
6) find out when I'm supposed to go interview with this client to prove I'm not as big a temperamental diva freak like his last employee.
Busy day.
