I've seen this done using anywhere from 10 to 25 songs so far; just to be different, I think I'll use 15. iTunes seems to be in a retro sort of mood today.

Hit shuffle on your music collection, take the first fifteen songs that come up (that have lyrics, obviously), post a line of the lyrics, and see if people can guess the name of the song. Cross them out as people guess correctly.

[Edit 12/26: I've added the song titles, including the ones nobody guessed.]

  1. [B]ut those people keep a-movin', and that's what tortures me ("Folsom Prison Blues", Johnny Cash)

  2. There was music in the cafes at night and revolution in the air. ("Tangled Up in Blue", Bob Dylan)

  3. My friends think I'm alone but I've got secrets ("No Man's Woman", Sinead O'Connor)

  4. Your daddy said I took you just a little too far. ("Sweet Emotion", Aerosmith)

  5. Being good isn't always easy no matter how hard I'd try ("Son of a Preacher Man", Dusty Springfield)

  6. I'm nothing to play with, go and find yourself a toy ("Tell It Like It Is", Aaron Neville)

  7. [A]nd they fill his churches with their pride and gold ("The Rebel Jesus", Jackson Browne)

  8. Let me wander every day beside you ("You Dance", Eastmountainsouth)

  9. A party's not a party 'til it ends up in a fight. ("Blood Wedding", Oysterband)

  10. And I only write them down just in case you should die. ("Prettiest Eyes", The Beautiful South)

  11. I'll be the one to tuck you in at night. ("Follow Me", Uncle Kracker)

  12. Il me dit des mots d'amour, des mots de tous les jours, et ça me fait quelque chose ("La vie en rose", Madeleine Peyroux)

  13. It's not the way you look, it's not the way you smile, although there's something to them. ("Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)", A Flock of Seagulls)

  14. She'll break a promise as a matter of course because she thinks it's fun to have no remorse. ("Chinese Burn", Curve)

  15. Where's the future you promised me? ("Moon Colony", Scissorkiss)

Don't worry, I'll pack my present in plenty of bubble wrap and then place it in a thick cardboard box. That should do it. :)

But dang it! The someone already beat me to the song lyrics I know. :(

Nope. That's one of my favorite Joel songs, and I don't recognize that as a lyric from it. :)
