I'm trying to whittle down the quantity of Stuff I have, and have been cleaning out my closets. There's a bunch of stuff I have sitting around that either I have not worn in long enough that I don't feel the need to keep it, or doesn't fit and won't fit me for the foreseeable future, so there's not much point in holding on to it. Some of it I'll give away, other things I'd like some cash for. It was headed for eBay, but I figured I'd give folks here first crack at it (both because I like ya, and because eBay listings are a PITA). Most of this is stuff I bought as a size 12, maybe a 14, so unless it's marked otherwise it's reasonable to assume it will fit in that range. If you're interested in any of this stuff, send me a note at geekchick @ livejournal and let me know what you'd like.

More to come later, once I feel like dealing with the camera again. I've got a Versatile Fashions corset and some Muro stompy boots that I'll be selling, and a few more items of clothing to give away.
Free (plus postage) to good home:
- Red satin dress with black flocked roses. Size 13, still with tags on it from Ross. This one actually needs some repair, as the bottom of the zipper needs to be reattached and the seam closed up. It looks like a pretty straightforward project to me, but I never got around to doing it.
- Gorgeous red skirt with a gold and blue floral pattern. And oooh, shiny! Size Large, 100% rayon. I adore this skirt. I do not adore that there is absolutely no give in the waist, and that it would probably fit someone who's roughly a size 10 best (which ain't me anymore). Please give my favorite skirt a good home; love it and hug it and squeeze it and call it George. Or not, but at least wear it more than I do. If you'd like me to take a waist/hip measurement on this, give me a ping. Like I said, it's not a stretchy fabric.
Black stretch velvet tank top with beaded straps.Size Large. I got this picking over the bones at the Gantos going out of business sale. This is another one that needs a tiny bit of repair, as one of the straps is attached via safety pin (and it was that way when I got it). It's wearable as is, you'd just need to pin the strap a bit further down than it is. It's got an included shelf bra. (We all know how well those work, right?) I think it's been worn once.Stretch PVC sleeveless top.Zips all the way up the back. It's by "Super Low Fat", and marked as "XXL". To say they have an "interesting" idea of what counts as XXL would sum it up I think. I have stuff in 2X by Lip Service that fits me now, but 2X in this brand seems to run a lot smaller. (Something that runs smaller than Lip Service! *boggle*) I'd say that if you're a small 16 this could maybe work, but I think a 14 is probably a safer guess.Elbow-length stretch velvet evening gloves, still with tags attached. They're gathered slightly at the top with a decorative and completely non-functional button. Very pretty, but I've got enough gloves at the moment.- How about a pair of
PVC bat wings? Standard "two elastic straps around the shoulders" variety.

-
Fluevog Safety Vogs, US women's 8. Steel-toed boots with reflective strips on the back. They're a women's 8, but they seem to run a bit large; the reason I'm getting rid of them is because they're just a bit too big for me (I'm a 7.5/8 depending on the shoe). They've been worn maybe three times. I'd keep them (I love them), but as much as I want them to, they just don't fit me.
$20 plus shipping. Steel toes, remember, so they weigh a few pounds. - Leather waist cincher with brass hardware. I bought this three years ago at King Richard's Faire, and to be honest the only time I wore it was when trying it on. Seemed like a good idea at the time? It's three stiff black leather panels, one in back and two in front, with adjustable lacing on the sides and in the front; the lacing means it can fit a pretty good range of sizes. It is not a corset, it's a waist cincher, but the material is stiff and heavy enought that you can get a couple of inches reduction by lacing tightly. The back panel is 18 inches side to side, the front two panel slightly less than that; I'd say that with the adjustable lacing, this probably will fit somewhere in the range of 30 (with minimal reduction, if any) to 36 or 37 inches. Possibly more if you redo the lacing; you can take this thing completely apart and use different lacing material if you're so inclined.
I paid $70 for it, I'd like to get$35$30 plus shipping.
