To illustrate what a complete dork I am, I will point out that I am incredibly excited to find that 21 Jump Street is coming out on DVD next week. Oh, I used to love this show. (I was 16, what can I say?) Johnny Depp when he was like 14! Okay, so maybe he was just a bit older than that, but still young. I have to admit though that I always had much more of a thing for Dustin Nguyen than Johnny Depp.

Me, I'm excited that MGM has finally released the "That's Entertainment Series" on DVD.

Although I always like Richard Greco, I think his name was.

Yeah, I'd actually forgotten about Richard Grieco for some reason. What I'm annoyed to find is that there's a collector's edition of "Invader ZIM" coming out in January apparently. At least they appear to have a package consisting of just the bonus disk, the nifty packaging and the GIR toy for those of us who already bought the three DVDs and don't want to shell out for them again.

What was it, cuz I was a guy? I totally missd the 21 jump street phenomenon. I mean, I know it was -there-. Just another show I didn't watch. I guess I wasn't the appropriate demographic.

I liked Dustin Nguyen better than Johnny Depp in that show too. Come to think of it, that was probably the last TV show I bothered watching before Bab 5...

Oh, I had such a crush on Dustin, in that charming way that only 16 year old girls can quite manage. *grin* It's weird, I had just been thinking a week or so ago that I would be both amazed and thrilled if that show would appear on DVD, and then I saw it listed on the board at Tower last night.

Hm, I would be both amazed and thrilled if I happened to win the lottery...

Toni and I were watching Chocolate last night and had a funny moment when the little girl runs in to announce the arrival of the river rats to Juliette Binoche. Her mom says, "Who's here?" and she responds, "Pirates!"

I said to Toni, "Right actor, wrong movie!" :-)

And if I can get the Wonder Woman series on TV, there's nothing wrong with you getting 21 Jump Street! ;-)
