This is a time I am glad I live in Calif., where an assisted form (which includes those someone else promises to mail) requires a signed receipt (built into the form) and if it doesn't show up, that receipt (which is a dated, sworn statement) counts as valid registration (esp. now that we have provisional ballots).

I saw this and was... whats the word, it would have been livid, but now it's weariness. A weariness which makes me count my rounds, but a state of pregnant resignation.
