Oct. 11th, 2004 04:04 pmI'd been thinking that unlike Episode III, which I have to go see just on principle even though if Lucas continues to both write dialogue and direct it's going to suck as badly as the first two did and I'll want to gouge my eyes out about halfway through, I could get away without seeing Blade: Trinity even though it's Wesley Snipes. But then I find out it's also got Indie Queen Parker Posey, and now I have go see it. Damn.

Date: 2004-10-11 02:20 pm (UTC)The second was a Guillermo Del Toro movie more than anything lese..but I like Del Toro.
I am so psyched for this sequel. I think it's an overlooked franchise, and there's one or two things from the comics (like, say, Hannibal King (http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/k/kinghannibal.htm)) that coudl be interesting to see in a movie, especially things that play with Blade's genocidal attitude towards vampires.

(See as evidence the fact that I liked "Van Helsing", mostly because I went in expecting very little from it other than yummy eye candy and so was not disappointed. ;) )
