Yeah... per ticket. Brutal when one is buying four, and all they do is hold them at will-call.
It's even worse when the only places to buy them are from TM, or the box office, and the box office is open 8-5, more than an hour a away, and there's no way one is going to be able to get tickets the night of the show (Maia and I went to Shostakovich' "Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk" and that was the problem... Box office, TM, or not at all... feh!).
Luckily we live around the corner from a Tower, so we can usually go over there and avoid at least part of the convenience charge they tack on for online orders, but generally either the box office isn't an option at all or it's too big a PITA to get there.
(Actually: wanna come see Flogging Molly at 9:30 tomorrow? You may have to deal with Ticketmaster, but _mike and I are going if they aren't sold out. Uh. We should, like, actually get tickets for that, and stuff.)
