Today is Sweetmorn, day 22 in the season of Bureaucracy, 3270.

It's time for more ink. I need to get a touchup for the green ink in the piece on my back. (The problem with the placement is that it's hard for me to actually see it.) I also want something new; I'm leaning towards a Red-crowned crane with outstretched wings, but I'm not quite sure on the placement for that yet. Eventually I want a Nouveau-styled wrist piece, and a lotus blossom at the base of my spine. The latter will wait though, as I'd like to have my next piece be placed someplace I can actually see it without contortions.

If anyone local's got recommendations for artists, I'd love to hear them. I wasn't unhappy with the guy who did my first piece and I suspect from his portfolio that he'd do a fine job on the crane, but I'm not entirely sure that studio's still open.

I like the piece you have already! That's quite lovely. Afraid I don't have any recommendations. I wish I knew where my friend Roy got his work done (an entire yakuza-style "samurai in the ocean fighting giant carp" scene); they did good work.
