Crap, better figure out a way to redeem my frequent flyer miles Real Soon Now.  So, anybody live on a US Air route that wants a random visit from a geekchick? ;)

US Airways Could Fail Next Month
[...]
If the company is unable to extract new concessions from workers, the report concludes, US Airways has 180 to 270 days left of operation, because next month it must make several large payments to a pension fund and creditors. On Sept. 30, it also faces a crucial review by the federal government, which gave the company $900 million in federally backed loan guarantees.

You could donate them to us, so we can be in Toronto two weeks or so after I move...

Cayne's Dad is turning 60 around then (exact date escapes me at the moment) and his sister and Mom are trying to plan a surprise birthday party, which we're attending. But with Thanksgiving two weeks later, and my moving just before that, it's a lot of travel.

(Cayne, in case you didn't know is Canadian, and his parents live near Toronto.)

Well, if you want to be the optimist and hold onto your miles (or if you can't find a seat with miles), it looks like they are having a great sale with some kick-ass fares in and out of DC for the Month of September.... Trying to drum up revenues to pay off some creditors, no doubt.

We'll probably be down there the weekend of 9/18...
