Beverage authority Michael Jackson, familiar to fans worldwide for his popular beer tastings, returns to National Geographic as the Maven of Malt® for a guided tour of the distinctive "single malt" whiskies of Scotland. Learn how the different single malts reflect the geography of Scotland, from "briny" island whiskies to the "granitic" products of the Highlands, to the "heathery" single malts of the Lowlands. Then sample Jackson's selections of six Scottish single malts, along with light snacks. Members: $45/Nonmembers: $50

actually, i might be. assuming that the place is metro accessable. if i'm drinking scotch, i definitely can't drive.

I believe it's at the National Geographic building; the directions mentioned short walking distances from two Metro stops. (Farragut North/West, maybe?)
