I'm just the font of useless knowledge today.

The Oxygen network is airing eight new episodes of Ab Fab; they aired the first one last Friday night. Looks like it (series 5) will also be out on DVD on March 16.

Loved the first three series. I started drifting away and losing interest when they came back and did a fourth one, so I'm a little hesitant to get excited about another series. Don't know if it was just me or not, but I wonder if Jennifer Saunders shouldn't have heeded her own words from a few years ago (can't cite the reference at the moment) after the original three series had run: something about quitting while it was still fresh and funny.

Mmmmm... Saffy. I always did drool over Julia Sawalha, and Saffy got some great slap-Edina-verbally comeback lines. :-)

Of course, I couldn't find a repeat listed on Oxygen for the first episode, so will probably have to wait for the DVD or another repeat run.

The great smack-Edina-verbally lines in this episode come from Emma Bunton (the woman formerly known as Baby Spice). ;) If all else fails, I could probably at some point dump the episode to DVD for you if you want.
