Today is Pungenday, day 34 in the season of Bureaucracy, 3269.

We have tiny little kittens in our office. Giving a kitten a bottle and watching the three of them toddle around the office is definitely good for the soul.

[They're very young, and were at a coworker's husband's construction site inside a wall that was about to be closed up. The idea is to try to catch the mother and reunite them all without having to call DC animal control (who will euthanize the whole lot of them).]

I've already pulled the "I got it to follow me home, can I keep it??" trick once in the last month, I do not dare risk it again. =) The problem is that we've already named them (my favorite is Velcro, so named because of his tendency to climb up onto your shoulder and hook his claws into your clothing), so they may have to keep us. ;) Every office needs kitties, no?
