Heh. I adore Gabriel Byrne, but I don't think I'd pick him to play me in a sitcom. I don't think I'd put Gabriel Byrne in a sitcom at all, actually.

My LiveJournal Sitcom
geekchick's House (ABC, 10:30): geekchick (Gabriel Byrne) hires wotw (Lyle Lovett) to perform pantomime at the Eiffel Tower. Then, aroraborealis (Joaquin Phoenix) and wolfy (Haley Joel Osment) collaborate on writing a romance novel. That weekend, cooking (Liv Tyler) makes fun of storybookland (Caroline Rhea) for enjoying Marxism. That same day, luwenth (Forest Whitaker) is allergic to wldrose (Michael T. Weiss)'s yearbook. The week after, therealjae (Robert Duvall) causes problems at work when a file from futabachan (Roma Downey) has a virus. Wacky results follow.

There are so many ways I can misread this, the choices are paralyzing. ;-)

I still see him as Uther in Excalibur or Augustine in Siesta, even when I see his other stuff.

Hey, it kept trying to cast me with John Wayne. I was amused.

I'm also bemused to see [livejournal.com profile] wotw in your cast. Speaking of playparties of yore... :-)

Yeah, I can sort of see a Lyle Lovett/[livejournal.com profile] wotw thing going on...

And that's disturbing.

If you think that's strange, try casting John Travolta as me...
