For the record, I found this place by looking at the Mt. Shasta Visitor Information page, I did not go in search of the kitschiest place in Northern California. ;) But how fabulous is that?? *laugh*

When we were on a trip chiefted and i went there to the coffee shop, he was very brave and let me order all the PINK food I wanted. He still shudders.

I have allways wanted to rent one of the big rooms with some friends and do a movie weekend with drinking games and no set bedtime

A four-hour drive, and one could easily sleep 10-12 in the bigger rooms. More, with the, um, shag carpeting...

We've stayed in this room and this room. The furniture is massive -- which is great, we didn't have to worry about the kis breaking it. And they loved the waterfall shower.

Please tell me that they're not as screamingly loud in person as they are in the photos. =) I don't think I could sleep in most of these rooms because I'd spend all night trying to figure out how to turn down the walls. ;)

The mind boggles... How they fit two queen-size beds into an old caboose -- that's impressive! Caboose-style, no less... (giggle).
