Today is Prickle-Prickle, day 68 in the season of Confusion, 3269.

Today is house-cleaning day. I've drenched the bathroom in foul-smelling chemicals and am puttering around waiting for the floor I just mopped to dry. Yay for not being scared to take a bath anymore! ;) I also hope to get to the bedroom and put away three baskets of folded laundry someday, now that I've got a place to put it. I should stick all the stuffed animals in the dryer on air-fluff to dust them off, put those bins up on the useless plant shelf, dust the room and then run the air filter for a while. (Note to self: go back to Home Despot and get the correct size allergen filter for the central air system. But not on Saturday afternoon, unless you're feeling overly masochistic.) So much for having fun this weekend, but it needs to get done. Another note to self: when you're tempted to whine about doing all the cleaning by yourself, remember that he spent a good chunk of the day last weekend replacing the front brake pads on your car.

What a great idea - dusting the stuffies has always been a pain, and less than effective.

I stick them in a few at a time with a dryer sheet and let them air-fluff for a bit. It doesn't get them completely dust-free, but it seems to work better than dusting attempts have.

We don't have a lot of stuffies, but those we have are special, and thus go on the Very High Shelf away from the one who thinks stuffies are tasty.

In my house, stuffies are obviously meant to be slept on. I wish I'd had my camera the time I came into the room and found Gateway sleeping in the middle of the bottom shelf, surrounded by stuffed bunnies.

Well, I wouldn't be so sure. =) Actually they're all clean, they're just really dusty (if that makes sense).

If there are any pictures floating around, I'm not aware of them. One would hope I'd know about that sort of thing, too.
