Today is Sweetmorn, day 30 in the season of Confusion, 3269.

My results on the SelectSmart Presidential Candidate Selector.

1. Kucinich, Cong. Dennis, OH - Democrat (100%) I suppose I should check him out further. The F from the NRA is somewhat appealing, but the 10% from Planned Parenthood is more than a little worrisome to me. I know these opinions are at odds with some people on my friends list, but I'm not going to try to change anyone else's minds about either of these topics.
2. Edwards, Senator John, NC - Democrat (84%)
3. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (82%)
4. Gephardt, Cong. Dick, MO - Democrat (82%)
5. Sharpton, Reverend Al - Democrat (81%)
6. Dean, Gov. Howard, VT - Democrat (81%) I voted for Dean in MoveOn's primary, actually; I think he's the most appealing so far.
7. Moseley-Braun, Former Senator Carol IL - Democrat (77%)
8. Lieberman Senator Joe CT - Democrat (73%)
9. Graham, Senator Bob, FL - Democrat (70%)
10. Libertarian Candidate (52%)
11. Phillips, Howard - Constitution (6%)
12. Bush, George W. - US President (-2%)
13. LaRouche, Lyndon H. Jr. - Democrat (-8%)

Dean's an attractive candidate, but I think would have only a slim chance in a general election. I'm not as fond of Graham, but I think that he's the Democrat with the best chance of unseating Bush.

Actually, I find Graham to be mildly offensive in a few areas (he supported the war, for example), but I find Bush to be much more so.

And he's already got his people working the streets. Even though I work nights, and am rarely out and about as the same time as any political yokels... I was the other day, and had one of 'em approach me while I was stopped at a light...

Actually no. Sorry for not being more clear.

It was LaRouche's campaigners that I've run across...
