[I'm just a posting fiend today, sorry about that y'all.]

I bought a sewing machine which I should be picking up tomorrow. Now I get to learn to use it (last time I touched a sewing machine was in fifth grade home ec., *mumble* years ago). Woo!

[Edit: I forgot to mention the birthday present of mine that finally showed up yesterday (they got slashdotted apparently right after C. ordered it and it took them a while to get caught up): a talking Iraqi disinformation minister action figure. Heehee! I'm not a big fan of some of the company rhetoric, but frankly I loved listening to the minister's increasingly surreal press briefings.]

Made a seismometer, (an instrument used to detect and record earthquakes), next change it to input to Mandrake or Redhat.

Got GAIM to work w networks simultaneously useing Mandrake and Redhat on AOL Yahoo ,MSN and more.

Like police lieutenant : Columbo , he always made the criminal underestimate him and make mistakes.

Would like to be interviewed, will be interesting.

The lure of the "how to get a husband" fabric was too strong. ;)

I figure I'll take a couple of beginning classes at G Street on basic sewing and maybe pattern fitting at some point later on, plus maybe it will help me get motivated to pick up quilting like I've been planning.

I don't even have to follow the link to know which one you're talking about. ;) And I thought so too. *laugh* At the moment they're incredibly behind on production because they got something like 10,000 orders all at once (and apparently they produce these things by hand); I'm impressed it only took two months to get here. =)
