birfday-kinda thang

Since my birthday's during the week and next weekend is already mostly booked-up, I'm thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me on Saturday instead. I'm planning to:

• go to Clay Cafe Studios in Chantilly for a couple of hours and paint stuff and then
  
• go to dinner at Malibu Grill in Fair Lakes.
  

If you're interested in joining me for part or all of this plan, comment here or email me (livejournal.com address is fine) in the next couple of days and let me know who'll show up; if there's enough interest (i.e. 10 people minimum) in Clay Cafe, I could make a party reservation. I know this is Easter weekend and some folks may be going out of town for it, so no worries if you can't show up this weekend.

I was just reminded to look at the portal page and noticed there are like 5 people on my friends list who have birthdays coming up in the next week and a half (and three of them are on the same day). April seems to be a popular month. =)

I dated someone once who had it very easy; my birthday and his wife's birthday were within four days of each other, and we have the same name. Well, it either made life easier or it made it harder to claim one didn't remember, I'm not sure which. ;) (Care to chime in, S.? *grin*)

Ooohhhh pottery stuff! I wish I could be there....we have a chain out here called "Petroglyph" where you can go and do that. I love it. I wish I could go with you.....
