British troops waiting to attack Iraq have been told to behave like liberators rather than conquerors. Thanks to anotheranon for posting the link to this; I've passed it along to several others.

"We go to liberate not to conquer. We will not fly our flags in their country," he said.

That was beautiful. Would that U.S. troops have gotten the same kind of send-off speech --I understand that the U.S. flag was flying (briefly) over Umm Qsar. What arrogance we display...
