geekchickToday is Boomtime, day 37 in the season of Chaos, 3269.
Ugh. I don't know what's wrong, but I've been sick like four times in the last year. I never used to get sick frequently. At the moment I'm hacking and coughing and my sinuses are trying to drown me. Somewhat ironically, today was one of my less-distractable days at work, not sure how that happened. Hopefully it will snow enough tonight/tomorrow morning to merit a snow day, so that I can sleep in tomorrow and try to kick whatever this is. (Well. I was just told in voicemail that even if we don't have a snow day, a coworker and I are to take sick days so that we get better. Guess that means I get to sleep in either way.) I hate how being sick makes me whiny. =-P
Finished my taxes and e-filed last night; $800 refund, woohoo! I think I can use that to finance a trip away someplace for C. and myself next weekend, assuming we can agree on someplace we both want to go.
