Feb. 3rd, 2003 09:02 pmI was leafing through the issue of "Shape" that showed up Saturday (I seem to have a subscription to it now, but I have no idea where it came from), and I found a six-week program that consists of either walking, running, or a walk/run combination. I like walking, it's one of the few exercise-type things I enjoy doing, so I figured "what the heck". I think I might have a possible hope of staying motivated on this one, as I don't necessarily have to leave the house to do it, I can take advantage of the several flights of stairs in the apartment. I'll probably post about about the plan and my progress (if any) in a filter so as not to clutter up people's friends lists. If you want to read the entries, let me know and I'll add you. If you don't, that's totally understandable. =)
I am somewhat disappointed to see exactly how out of shape I've gotten again, and annoyed at how my knees are crackling.

Date: 2003-02-04 06:28 pm (UTC)In all seriousness, I'm not out of options yet -- I've still got several internal options that may yet bear fruit, and now that I know where I stand, I can at least make my own arrangements.
I will confess to fingering the edge of a letter opener and looking at my boss' throat speculatively, though. :)
