All I could think when I read that post was "Waaaa, you're not allowing me to generalize the world based on my little slice of it. Waaaaaa." Um, yea. And to feel like she needs to post that she's being driven away.....

A real ray of sunshine, isn't she? Perhaps it's just my warped sense of humour, but I do think it's funny that all this spiralled out of a discussion about "Unnecessary drama"... :-)

I think some of the responses to the 'ad' were maybe a bit harsh (the comments had sparked some genuine discussion, so it wasn't, IMO, being treated as an ad by that pont - whether or not it was intended as one), but that was hardly unanimous and isn't exactly evidence that the community's full of horrid bitches... still, if someone wants a trigger for a confrontational online drama, it's never hard to inven-er-find one, is it?

I thought the responses to the "ad" were insanely *mild" compared to what I've seen in the past. And this woman thought she was being called a bigot? That's definitely a "nothing but trouble" situation to avoid -- and yes, door-print on ass would be fine.
