geekchickToday's little happiness: C. found for me a calendar by Edward Gorey called "Neglected Murderesses", which contains such entries as: "Mrs. Daisy Sallow eviscerated her daughter-in-law with a No. 7 hook, afterwards crocheting, over the course of three evenings, her shroud in a snowflake pattern (1921)."
I need to find bookshelf space for the huge pile of books that's sitting on the floor so that the happy shiny Covad person can get to the phone jacks and get us something approaching reasonable speed net access. And then I can continue working on the portfolio site I'm helping D. out with (well, portfolio for me since we're not getting cash money out of it and it will at least be something to show people).
