I was a bad, bad girl. Really. I bought some new nostril jewelry (a stud to replace the screw that doesn't fit so well, and a black niobium ring) and one of these, the one on the right but in emerald green rather than black. Yes, you did hear me say that I bought clothing in a color other than black. Those of you who were intending to ogle my cleavage at the RennFest in a few weeks should feel gratified now. ;) It was *very* reasonable and I can certainly work this into my budget by cutting out the eating out at work during the week for a while, and selling the leather cincher I bought at King Richard's Faire (and have yet to ever wear) will add even more cushion. So why do I feel guilty? =/ And why am I still awake, for that matter? I have things I want to ramble about, but I've put it off for so long that I think I'm too tired right now. Tomorrow, perhaps. For now, I think I should at least attempt to sleep.

Pretty pretty budget Renn! Not historically accurate, but not MEANT to be - it's just FUN! And frankly, you can probably wear the pieces with modern clothes and get even more mileage out of them!

Also nice jewelry - let me know how tribalectric works out; I've heard good things about them.

Oh not even close to historically accurate, but that's okay with me; frankly I just wanted something that wasn't jeans and a tshirt and I'm a bit too broke for some of the nice Tudor stuff I saw elsewhere. =) (I'm still drooling over the Elizabethan gown on the other site I sent you the link for, but no way would I wear that out in the dust either.) I think these folks also do more business in weaponry than they do in other stuff.

I'll let you know how the order goes; spookycam said she'd had a good experience with them, so I decided to try it out myself
