Today is Boomtime, day 51 in the season of Confusion, 3268.

I just got finished reading a wonderful, lyrical email from a friend who's currently spending a week or so in Jakarta. I really want a vacation/adventure.

Mmm. I was sorry that I didn't get to visit Indonesia while I lived in Sydney and it would have been easy. :-} But there was quite a bit of unrest during the time (East Timor and other nasty political trouble) and it just didn't seem wise.
