(no subject)

The inch of mixed snow and sleet they were predicting last night seems to have turned into 2-3 inches of mostly snow (although I know there's a layer of ice under there, as I saw my car coated in it last night). I'm annoyed with myself for not retrieving our bird feeder from our neighbor's back yard where it fell during the last really windy night, but it looks like the folks two doors down have something like six feeders set up and a good-sized (and noisy) contingent of songbirds parked there. It's still snowing lightly here, but I don't think it's adding much to the accumulation. Maybe I'll get on my wool tights and boots and go take a walk around the lake out back.
