Nov. 21st, 2004 05:16 pmMeep, haven't kept very good track of what I've been reading in the last couple of months. Placeholder here with the titles I can remember, in no particular order completed books in order from "That was incredible" (the first two titles are tied for that) to "Wow, was that ever overrated and I'm so glad I only paid $4 for it":
Complete:
The Sparrow
A Rumor of War
Gloriana
The Alchemist's Door
Incubus Dreams
Shanghai Baby
In progress:
Letting Go of the Person You Used to Be: Lessons on Change, Loss, and Spiritual Transformation
A History of the Wife
The Stars My Destination (re-read)
Up next:
America: A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction
Fantastic Voyage: Live Long Enough to Live Forever
Faint Echoes, Distant Stars
The Gold Coast:Three Californias
about five other books from my last trip to Green Valley.
I am putting myself on restriction for the rest of the year; I am not buying any more books until I make a bigger dent in the stack of unread things I already have sitting here. Well, other than the two that are in my open B&N order (Living History and The Master of All Desires). I had to order Paranoia XP when I had an extra discount available, and since I was there and the sale (<$5) books were there...well, I have little to no willpower when it comes to books, let's leave it at that. This is me, exactly.
