I logged in to AIM last night for the first time in ages; it was a little disconcerting to see eck signed on and shown as being idle, having just seen the posts on my friends list. I hope you've found peace, Iain, and I'm sorry I'll not get the chance to know you better.

Today is Setting Orange, day 11 in the season of Bureaucracy, 3270.

It's amazing what a week or so away from staring at the documentation you've produced can do; much easier to step back and assess what you've actually written.  I'm on my second red pen of the day. (Honestly it's not even remotely  that bad, my first pen was on its last legs when I started. I swear.)
