Today is Setting Orange, day 17 in the season of Discord, 3270.
On top of it being gray and cool today, I feel very unwell. Bleah. To counteract all that, I downloaded Veggie Rocks! from iTunes. Covers of Veggie Tales songs, including "I Love My Lips", how could I go wrong? Now I must find "O Veggie Where Art Thou?" Need to concentrate on work, but feel unwell enough that it's hard to do without a lot of effort. Maybe I'll work on a flowchart, that doesn't require as much brainpower as writing any actual code. Or first draft of some documentation, since it doesn't have to be either good or complete yet.

mouseman to stay when he visits in a couple of weeks. The cat has taken to jumping up on the railing at the top of the stairs and wobbling precariously; it would be cuter if it wasn't pretty much a three-story fall if he wobbles a bit too much the wrong way. He's also met one of the neighbors' cats who wandered into our back yard. To say it didn't go well would be understatement. I'm going to make him a little tunic with Sir Robin's chicken crest embroidered on which will flap in the wind as he bravely turns and runs away.
Random tangent: I would dearly love to be able to go to CHI 2004 in Vienna, but there's absolutely no way I could justify it. I wonder if I can get their logo and artwork on a poster? Oh hey, I can now! (I see I wasn't the only one who wanted one. Heh.) Or rather, I can't yet unless I actually go to the conference. Anyone going who wants to bring me back a poster?
